Incredibly Blessed
We are sure getting down to the wire until baby Lucy arrives, as I hit 36 weeks today, and induction will be at 39! Let's just say that I am one anxious, excited and nervous mama! We had another ultrasound this past week, to see how Lucy is progressing, and she is growing strong, weighing in at 5lbs 12oz and has the chubbiest cheeks! Here is her latest mug-shot.
I can't help but look back on the road God has led us down and just stand in awe of His marvelous grace and blessing through all of this! I never dreamed we would be able to have our own baby, but this is God's plan for us, and we are just deeply blessed to be where we are. The past couple weeks have come with their own pregnancy woes, as getting around has been a little more uncomfortable and at times just painful, and I have quite a demanding schedule when it comes to visiting the bathroom all night, but I know this is God's way of preparing us for Lucy.
We know this is God's plan and even through the woes and worries, He has proven Himself to us more than enough throughout this process, and I know He will continue to let His light shine through it all! (After all, Lucy means "light"!) He has brought us through the worries of my high-risk status, and continues to; He has gotten us through the early on miscarriage scare, and He continues to reassure us through the people and doctors along the way.
We have no one to thank but the ONE! I thank you for your faithfulness in prayer on our behalf, and as we near the finish line of pregnancy, we continue to covet your prayers.
